We’ve been around 16 years and we run a business. There are times when all the tedious and sometimes painful logistics and administrative work behind running an outdoor education & travel company fall away - like at the sound of a hundred rushing wings landing in front of you on the still waters of a lake; When all is quiet in the valley and you stand gazing at a truly awesome range of mountains; When a host of children at the end of a week of camping sit peacefully still even as a Cobra passes by; When you watch a team break out of its mold and successfully solve a challenge; When you watch formal people let loose the child in them and begin to have fun; When a child at the end of a long sweaty trek up to the mountaintop tells you that she now feels really clean …

What keeps us and sustains us apart from the almighty God are these moments; moments that will in all probability never be repeated again but will always be stored in our memory - a box of riches, to be opened and savored every now and again.
